Hi, my name is Laura. When I was newly married, I really wasn't much of a cook at all. One day I was making garlic bread and I forgot about it in the oven and it was of course, burning. My incredibly funny husband said " Well, it's not a meal by Laura if something isn't burnt". Many years later, when I told him I was going to start a blog and what could I call it -- he came up with "What's Burning Laura?" It has several meanings. Of course, I could be burning something in the oven, or I could find yet again, something I feel "burning" about - gardening, cooking, dogs, kids--you name it.

I'm a stay at home mom to three grown daughters, a loving husband and two crazy dogs. I thought it would just be fun to take a couple of pictures and talk about some of things that are burning in my life.
